Guided Fly Fishing and Light Tackle

There’s a reason anglers come from around the world.

The Florida Keys and Everglades National Park offer unparalleled fishing opportunities. The unique ecosystem offers Tarpon, Permit, Bonefish, Snook, Jack Crevalle, and many more species that bend rods!

Florida Keys

Tarpon. Permit. Bonefish.

The Keys have endless shallow water flats making for excellent sight fishing to some of the best gamefish in the world. I love the challenge of chasing huge tarpon on the ocean, and finicky permit and bonefish on the flats. These species are the reason that I moved to the Keys. Sight fishing is unique to inshore fishing and allows the angler full access to action. Watch the show happen right in front of you!

Everglades National Park

Fishing the Everglades offers year round Tarpon and Snook fishing. It’s an excellent place to start your saltwater adventure, from fishing the bays to exploring the inside of the park. This is truly an amazing place that delivers world class fly and light tackle fishing.

Fishing method and technique

My fishing method of choice is the fly rod. I tie all of my flies for myself and my guests. If you are new to the sport of fly fishing or want to try something new I can get you up to speed and casting! I love teaching new anglers of all ages and skill levels the way of the fly!

As far as spinning gear, years of experience as an angler and fishing guide have taught me that the fly rod is not always the best tool for the job. At times weather conditions, type of fish, and topography can make fly fishing difficult. For this reason I also keep spinning gear on my boat and am happy to fish primarily spinning gear if requested.
